RWH & Groundwater Consultant Required - Kangra Dist, Himachal Pradesh

I am a resident of Library CTA Dharamsala and I am working as project officer at Department of Health CTA. Since both the residential and office area of the Library, which is quite large are facing acute shortage of drinking water as well as household usage. My office is planning to go for rainwater harvesting as well as underground water supply, but before we make any decision we would like to consult an expert hydrologist in area, so anyone recommend us of any experts near Kangra distt or in Himachal Pradesh? It would be very helpful.

Dear Tenzin,
Your query and the proposed actions are in line and for rainwater harvesting what you need to do is harvest all the runoff water from the roofs through pipes and divert them to the recharging pit which should be located upward topo-sequence of the bore well or a open well.
Necessary designs will be available with the groundwater department in your state or agricultural engineering department of the agricultural university.
