1.
Dear Sriprakash,
Great! to opt for RWH initiative at your new-development in your house.
A few questions before attempting to offer you an implementable solution:
1. What is the total rainfall in the year in cm. of rainfall, like Delhi is 80 cm
in one year and it occurs in around 100 days.
2. What is in generally done as Rain water harnessing, in your region, is it held in family tankas i.e held in under-ground tank. And the water is used all the year round.
3. What is the level of water in your tube-well, prior monsoon, and after monsoon period.
4. How’s the quality of tube-well water, is it salty, or very salty, if you have some values of water-quality you may advise us.
5. What is the usual source of water, is it tube-well, do you have a dug-well also in the house?
Pl do indicate the replies in order to direct someone to guide you for doing RWH Etc.
