Water Digest, a bi-monthly publication on water related issues, has instituted "Water Awards"for honouring distinguished work carried out in the water sector in India last year. This year, Water Digest in association with UNESCO and WES-Net India is going to award individuals and organisations for their exemplary work in the field of water.

NGOs: There are 5 awards for the NGO category: "Water Supply", "Water Quality", "Water Education", "Revival of Rural Water", "Water Harvesting". The entry fee for NGOs is exempted to enable their participation in the event. Last date for submitting entries is 15th October, 2007.
