"IIM Kozhikode runs on rainwater", is a case study of IIM-K's Rainwater Harvesting work, written by Shree Padre in June 2005. The B-school's 96-acre campus occupies two steep hillocks. There is no independent water source for the entire institute and the average daily water consumption exceeds one lakh litres. Due to the RWH work, inspite of the absence of pre-monsoon showers in mid-Kerala, which is causing worry elsewhere, IIM-Kozhikode is showing no signs of anxiety.
