Himalaya Seva Sangh, an NGO, has just launched a "Himalayan Water Portal" - www.himalayanwater.org. Quoting from their site:

"Through this website we intend to reach millions of people throughout the world and share with them the information, analysis and research regarding water and sanitation related issues of the Himalayan region. The website also aims at highlighting and sharing the positive interventions in this region."
